Are Your Clothes Climate Beneficial? Fashion Gala Shows How.

September 23, 2017 — Last month, the local Fibershed community gathered in beautiful Bolinas, California for the annual Climate Beneficial Fashion Gala. The Gala showcased eighteen unique, collaborative outfits manufactured by national and local fashion designers. The wool for the Gala was produced by Bare Ranch, and manufactured by Huston Textile–our regions first mechanical weaving mill. The Gala brought together dedicated artisans and consumers demonstrating how clothing can be a celebration of fashion and soil by using fiber sources that reverse the effects of global climate change.
